Garage Doors

Our garage doors are designed with special thought to looks and durability.

All of our doors are manufactured from glass reinforced plastic (GRP), which is a tough and durable composite material made of a plastic which is reinforced by fine fibres made of glass. When combined with a gel coat it creates a strong yet flexible material that is ideally suited for products such as garage doors. It is incredibly strong and dent resistant with a better strength to weight ratio than steel.

Our range combines crisp, clean, panel definition with traditional and exclusive designs which will complement your home. Because we make our garage doors out of GRP, the door face is devoid of joints, seams, rivets and fasteners which would detract from its good looks.

Unlike steel and timber garage doors, our GRP doors are impact tested, so if the unforeseen happens and you misjudge your parking and nudge the door, or if you have a budding David Beckham using the door to practice free kicks on, you will not get an unsightly dent.

And unlike other door materials, if there is any damage to the doors, because they are made from GRP, they can be repaired on site.

Not only is GRP tough, it is also excellent at resisting the ravages of the “great” British weather, even in coastal locations. The corrosive effect of salt laden air can easily be seen on rusting gates, door hinges and metal garage doors; GRP eliminates corrosion and will keep its looks for longer than any other material on the market.

We have a large range of doors, including up and overs, sectionals, and side hinged; they are available in gloss white or a range of coloured woodgrains; and come with a variety of optional extras including brush strips, glazed areas and electric operation. So there is plenty of choice to enable you to find an affordable door to enhance your home.
